PARLIAMENTARY CANDIDATE FINALISTS

Chorley Conservatives have chosen their finalists for their Open Primary selection to be held on Tuesday 7th October.

From eighteen chosen for interview, JANET CLOWES, ALAN CULLENS and MARY ROBINSON have been selected to face an Open Primary and Special General meeting.  North-West political journalist jim Hancock will conduct the interviews.

Today local Conservatives spent ten hours interviewing applicants.  "The quality of candidates applying for Chorley was outstanding and the selection committee had a difficult job in presenting their finalists.  We have three exceptional candidates going forward." said Chairman Peter Malpas.
