- Scope out the potential for the Council to develop new social and low cost housing whilst exploring new ways to build the homes we need.
- Use new innovations, like modular housing, to build quickly and efficiently on land released by the council.
- Plan for more bungalows and one bedroom houses to suit all needs and requirements.
- Make sure homes are future-proof to support owners and tenants whose circumstances change through age or disability.
- Partner with providers to significantly increase the number of supported housing schemes across the borough, especially in rural areas.
