Make sure you have your say on development site suggestions

Residents in the Brindle & Hoghton, Pennine and the Wheelton & Withnell Ward are encouraged to take part in a public consultation that Chorley's Labour Council have launched on development site suggestions they wish to take forward from those they have received.

And it's important that you have your say. You've only until 14th February 2020.

In all five sites were submitted for consideration in the Pennine Ward including the pictured site, twelve sites in the neighbouring Wheelton and Withnell Ward and a further two in our part of the Brindle and Hoghton Ward. 

Now Chorley Council are consulting on those site suggestions they want to take forward, two in the Pennine Ward and one in the Wheelton & Withnell Ward.  There's a further two in Brindle and Hoghton beyond our new boundary.

There are also a series of local Drop in events throughout the Borough.  Local drop-in sessions where held in December.

RESIDENTS ARE URGED to take part in a public consultation on where future development sites should be across Chorley

The Labour-led Council are asking for views on the sites they are proposing from the list of suggestions they have received.

Our area covers the new Chorley North East Ward which comes into force from next May's local elections.

It includes the Withnell part of the Brindle and Hoghton Ward, all of the Wheelton and Withnell Ward, and most of the Pennine Ward.  Our council candidates will be Peter Malpas, Greg Morgan and Clive Tattum.
