Cllr Alan Cullens

County Councillor Alan Cullens (Hoghton with Wheelton) is seeking support to lobby for a new bus service to provide a route between Preston, Hoghton, Brindle and Chorley.

Alan Cullens said:

Residents have contacted me to see if we could introduce a bus service serving both Brindle and Hoghton.

Two of our outstanding villages have no direct bus route to Chorley and I have put in a request to Lancashire County Council to see if one could be considered.

The service could run from Preston, through Hoghton then Brindle and on to Chorley and possibly Leyland.

This would be very much welcomed for hospital visits, schools, socialising and shopping.
