Should the Labour Chancellor resign?

Should the Chancellor stay or go?

The Labour Government have spent months talking down our economy and the GDP figures show just how much damage they have done:

  • The Chancellor promised the fastest growing economy in the G7, but her budget is killing growth.

  • Growth in the last quarter of 2024 was 0.1 per cent, following no growth in the three months before that.

  • Rachel Reeves exaggerated her time at the Bank of England on her CV and then was investigated over her expenses when she worked at Halifax Bank of Scotland (HBOS).

  • Reeves spent five and a half years working at the Bank of England-including nearly a year studying-despite publicly claiming to have spent a decade there.

  • Then while at HBOS, there was an expenses investigation into Reeves and two other senior managers.
