The grass verge on Central Avenue is looking unkept. Whilst Chorley Council cuts the verge next to the footpath and the swale at the side of the road, the area in between is left and is starting to look a mess.

Following on from our earlier updates, we have again raised the lack of funding and urgency at Chorley Council Full Council meeting
Last year we managed to negotiate with Chorley Council to mow the roadside swales in Buckshaw Village more frequently.
Swales are an integral part of the system that diverts water away from the roads and helps prevent flooding.
