The Conservative Government has delivered on its commitment to halve inflation by the end of the year, but too many vulnerable people are still feeling its effect which is why targeted cost of living support is being delivered to those most in need.

We thank al our candidates who stood for the Conservative Party in this years local elections.

Sadly, we lost five excellent councillors, but retained the Croston, Mawdesley and Euxton South Ward.

Rebalancing investments so that rural areas benefit as well as urban.

Speed up the creation of a local plan to control housing developments.

All four of Chorley's Labour county councillors last week voted against a County Council motion calling on the council "to work with OFSTED to raise standards and to support all Lancashire's schools to achieve the highest possible outcomes for our children".

Chorley's Labour Council have reported that over the last fourteen months they recorded 1,713 incidents of dog fouling across our parliamentary constituency area, 1,866 over the whole borough.

Surprisingly, they also report no prosecutions were made during the same period.

Not many will have noticed because they don’t use it, but the upper deck of Chorley’s expensive new car park on Friday Street is rarely used. 

The surface car park is always reasonably busy, BUT that was the case before the expensive structure was built.
